Sarah Reygate, @sarahreygate, make up artist extraordinaire, true professional, cat lover and simply lovely lady was kind enough to answer some beauty questions and share some top make up tricks of the trade.

What is your favourite high street product you have come across so far?
EX1 Invisiwear foundation is fantastic quality and only £12.50.
Muji Thin Cotton Buds for targeted blending and wiping mistakes.
Collection Colour Clear Mascara to set eyebrows.
What are your favourite skincare brands?
Naturaliste and La Roche-Posay for high end skincare.
What is the best non cosmetic treatment you can recommend?
I have Collagen Wave Facials for skin tightening and lifting. Highly recommended.
The most important thing is to leave your face alone and to try not to touch or rub it too frequently, Do not use too much of any product i.e. pat in small amounts of moisturiser, just enough to give hydration.
How did you become a make up artist?
I went to art college and a very good friend who was a model asked me to do her make up. She liked what I did and continued asking me to do her make up. Then I began started testing (unpaid shoots so that new models, makeup artists, photographers and stylists can create pictures for their portfolios) and had no idea that being a make up could be a profession. The testing then led to work.
Who inspires you?
(immediately) Val Garland @thevalgarland- as a person, as a make up artist, I simply love what she does.
Stephane Marais @stephane_marais_official for classical beauty.
Peter Lindbergh @therealpeterlindbergh, the photographer. Even if its really high fashion and really out there, its still really beautiful.
Thank you so much for your time Sarah!
