The blogging world is now full to excess with wannabe bloggers and self crowned “style leaders”. In an already saturated market, there is one blogger who paved way before anyone even knew what “wordpress” was, and who has been trail blazing her way through the blogging stratosphere. That lady is Jules Sarinana of Sincerely Jules.
I have been attempting to take fashion inspiration from her chilled LA style and her unique way of putting clothes together for years now… which, in the fast paced blogging world, is almost like forever! Her quirky take on classic outfits, along with the constant sunshine and beachy vibes are fun, and, crucially, also very accessible. What I love the most, is that she wears the same clothes a lot, which is unlike many other bloggers, and she always mixes and matches her wardrobe staples, with means her style is realistic.
Jules recently diversified into her own clothing line called, surprisingly, Shop Sincerely Jules. Inspired by the fact that she wore the same clothes a lot, she created a collection of wardrobe classics. Full of slogan tees, classic dresses, cool jeans, luxe joggers and timeless jumpers, the collection sells out fast. And rightly so, because it is good. This is not someone who has cut corners and mass produced poor quality at high fashion prices. Her clothes are not eye-waveringly expensive, and are of a high standard. I first spotted this Tula jumper on her Instagram- beautifully shot in the LA sunshine, it was just want I needed on a damp, drizzly day watching Minions for the umpteenth time.
Everyone needs a classic striped jumper in their wardrobe, and this Tula Sweater is both classic and flattering. I have worn this jumper so much that I wish I had designed it… maybe a Sincerely Jules inspired NotSuchAModelMum collection of wipe down, child friendly, wardrobe essentials beckons.
