Never one to shy away from bold prints or bright colours, and always in search of clothes that make me smile, I found my newest lemon love in H&M. This dress has slowly and steadily been creeping into the bigger fashion blogger’s wardrobes on Instagram, so get to the shops sharpish before this little number sells out!
This fabulous chiffon number with its cool lemon and green floral print is the ideal dress to throw on whatever the weather. In the sunshine, it is easy to wear with a pair of sandals and, come Autumn, it can be worn with some tan coloured knee length boots and a classic camel coat. The playful fabric is both fun and just that little bit different, whilst the floaty and full skirt makes this little piece the ideal femme fatale .
The button down V-neck front compliments both those with a larger bust and those like myself, who have a smaller one! The length of the dress is flattering and balances the low neckline, allowing for just enough flesh to be shown – a big thumbs up from me…there’s nothing worse than worrying about revealing your bottom when bending down to pick up a stray child!!
I also love the cap sleeve. It lends a certain 1940’s character to the piece, making me feel like a silver screen goddess in my show-stopping lemon and green print. In this dress, I feel like I am ready for anything…. a wedding, a day at the playground, a day of castings, or on holiday. This dress will do all that and more. And all this with a reasonable price tag… what more could a women want? However I should not say that to loudly just in case others catch on and realise what a fantastic dress this is. The worst kept secret is out!
