Those long sultry Ibiza summer nights dancing the night away in Erick Morillo’s DJ box with the man himself are occurrences firmly relegated to the past, now that we are knee deep in nappies and puree.
With the kids in tow, the closest we have come to a sniff of the trendy Ibizan nightclubs is in Ibiza Airport duty free on the way home. Here they sell all kinds of cutting edge branded nightclub wear from clubs and DJs we haven’t even heard of. Determined not to let this put us off feeling cutting edge, if we can’t go clubbing, then we will take the clubs with us. Even better, we will take them to bed with us.
Introducing nightclub wear as nightwear. In this way, we can still feel on the fashion pulse and trendy whilst brushing our teeth and arguing over how long Netflix takes to load (seriously!). But that’s a post for another day. Until those days return (have you seen 40-somethings on the dancefloor?!) we can now, literally, dream of our clubbing days!
What’s not cool about cracking open the champagne in your nightclub and DJ branded pyjamas when you are on holiday, its 7pm and you have got all the kids to bed?!
