We are all in search of cheap thrills, right? Whether it’s that bargain eyeshadow or a cheap sales find on theoutnet.com, the less money we spend, the happier we are! So imagine how happy we were when we found this top- an easy white t shirt with some cheap frills on the side (sorry about the appalling pun!)
Life can often be complicated and hard work, especially compounded by those days when we try on a million different things before we are happy with an outfit. When days like these land on our doorstep, we try and keep things uncomplicated and look for the classic, simple things in our wardrobe that have that little something extra to brighten our mood. This top from H&M is just that – simple, not too fussy and has that bit of spice to funk up an otherwise easy white t shirt.
This fancy little find covers all bases, and we love nothing more than an easy t shirt that goes with everything- a pair of jeans, skirt or even with a cool looking suit, if ever the business meeting arises! Either way, you can never have enough variations on the much loved t shirt, and this clever variation certainly has that wow factor. The simple crew neckline and slightly oversized body shape are sharply contrasted by the drama of its thespian-esque ruffled flounce sleeve.
We were initially worried that the ruffled sleeves would be unflattering, but, because the flounce starts mid way down the sleeve as opposed to the shoulder point, it gives the illusion of a long, lean slender arm. Who wouldn’t want this?! And, at £12.99, we can really push the proverbial boat out and buy two colours!!
So, to spice up those days where nothing seems to be going right, and you just don’t know what to wear, just add a bit of flounce and ruffle to your day. A cheap frill will make you feel so good. Then, at the end of a long day herding kids around, you can happily flounce off to grab that well deserved glass of wine from the fridge, flop in front of Narcos 3 wearing your Ugg slippers and chill. Or is that just me?!

To go with my easy T, I have opted for a quick fix. I have chosen some Burberry mascara and Nars lip gloss. My foundation is from Lancôme. The easy sponge and pad applicator makes this a no fuss or mess application. The coverage is light and translucent giving a healthy natural glow with no heavy residue.

I love the feeling of very little make up so I am wearing some BY Terry Light Expert Click brush foundation and some Nars The Multiple Stick on my cheeks and lips.
