This season, the catwalks have created a stunningly simple, money-saving fashion cheat by extending the life of a romantic summer dress into autumn with some simple layering of a polo neck underneath it. By mixing together opposites…a summer dress with a polo neck or long sleeved top, and with winter shoes; the fashion world has transformed the typical summer dress into a viable autumn alternative. And one that is bang on trend!
If you haven’t got a polo neck, then good old Marks & Spencers always comes up trumps in value and quality. Stick to a simple uniform colour like black, and make sure that the fabric is thin, so that no unnecessary bulkiness is added, and off you go. Easy peasy.
So, don’t pack away your favourite summer dress quite yet, because, who knows, you may even wear your favourite Summer number to your Christmas party!
